General Information
When are the Kerala Lotteries results officially published?
The official draw for Kerala State Lotteries is conducted every day at 3:00 PM at Gorky Bhavan, near Bakery Junction in Thiruvananthapuram. The live result publishing usually starts shortly after, around 3:05 PM. The complete, official PDF list of winners signed by the judges is typically available by 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM on the same day.
Is Luckora an official government website?
No, Luckora.in is an independent information service. We are not the official website of the Kerala State Lotteries Department. We source our data from official public releases to provide them in a more user-friendly, searchable, and faster format. Always rely on the official Kerala Gazette for the final confirmation of your prize.
Can I buy Kerala Lottery tickets online through this website?
No, strictly not. The Government of Kerala does not permit the online sale of lottery tickets. The sale of tickets is restricted to physical paper tickets sold through authorized agents within the territorial jurisdiction of Kerala state. We do not sell tickets nor do we facilitate any online gambling.
Prizes & Claiming
I won a prize! How do I claim my money?
Congratulations! The claiming process depends on your prize amount:
• Up to ₹5,000: You can claim this instantly from any authorized lottery ticket stall or agent in Kerala.
• Up to ₹1 Lakh: You can encash this at the District Lottery Offices found in each district.
• Above ₹1 Lakh: You must surrender your ticket to the Director of State Lotteries or a Nationalized Bank with the necessary documents (ID proof, application form, photos).
Remember, you must claim your prize within 30 days of the draw date.
What documents are required to claim a major prize?
To claim a prize above ₹1 Lakh, you typically need to submit:
1. The original winning ticket (signed on the back).
2. A self-attested copy of the ticket (both sides).
3. Claim application form along with a receipt request.
4. Passport-sized photographs (two, attested by a Gazetted Officer).
5. PAN Card copy (mandatory for tax deduction).
6. Aadhaar Card or Voter ID for identity and address proof.
7. Bank account details (cancelled cheque or passbook copy).
Is there a tax deduction on Kerala Lottery prizes?
Yes, for any prize winning above ₹10,000, rigorous tax laws apply. A TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) of 30% is deducted from the prize money. Additionally, an Education Cess and other surcharges may apply, effectively bringing the total deduction to around 31.2%. If you do not provide a PAN card, the TDS rate typically doubles.
Troubleshooting
My ticket number matches globally but not the series code. Did I win?
It depends on the prize tier. For lower tier prizes (like 5th, 6th, 7th PRIZES usually), often only the last 4 digits are matched, regardless of the series. However, for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes, the FULL ticket code including the two-letter series (e.g., AB 123456) must match exactly. Please check the specific result chart carefully to see which prizes are 'Common to all series'.
What should I do if my ticket is damaged?
Handle your ticket with extreme care! A torn or mutilated ticket is usually rejected. However, if the essential details (barcode, ticket number, draw date, and security code) are still legible or reconstructible, you may apply to the Lottery Department. The decision to accept a damaged ticket lies solely with the discretion of the Lottery authorities.
